Relay Installation Instructions
- Disconnect power at the circuit breaker before installation.
- Open the electrical junction box and identify the Line, Neutral and
Ground wires. Identify the conductor that supplies power to the lamp
that you want to control.
- Attach the PLC Module inside the metal electrical box using the
module mounting bracket. Connect the supply Ground wire (G)
together with the module mounting bracket and the grounding screw.
- Disconnect the Line wire that had supplied power to the lamp that
you want to control.
- Connect the disconnected wire of the lamp to the Blue lead of the
PLC Module. Connect the supply Line wire (L) to the Black lead
of the AC-Load Module.
- Connect the white lead of the PLC Module together with the
supply Neutral wire (N).
- Use screw wire connectors for all connections. Check that all
connections are tight and there is no exposed bare conductor.
- Place wires and device into the electrical box.
- Close the box and restore power.
